In addition to offering application management and change delivery services for the broadcaster's application estate supporting the finance, procurement, and HR activities, TCS will make use of TCS Cognix, an AI-driven human-machine communication suite. To simplify the payroll process for the broadcaster, TCS will also assist with the deployment of a new partner payroll platform and services with an integrated analytics layer.
“We are pleased to be selected by the BBC as their partner to transform their finance and payroll function. TCS’ digital capabilities and domain expertise will help them achieve their business objectives while building greater agility and resilience in their operations,” said Amit Kapur, Country Head, UK and Ireland, TCS.
To increase efficiency, process velocity, and process results, the partnership will involve managing individual processes across strategic and transactional finance operations.
The multinational provider of IT services from India has been active in the UK for 45 years and, in terms of income, leads the market for software and IT services in the area. It ranks among the largest employers of information technology in the region with 21,000 employees across the UK and Ireland.
