
Tata Power Teams Up with Zoomcar For EV Adoption

Over 20,000 cars from Zoomcar are available on its platform in India, Indonesia, and Egypt.
"As India's leading EV charging infrastructure provider, we are constantly collaborating with industry partners such as Zoomcar to develop a technologically advanced and robust EV ecosystem in the country," Tata Power CEO & MD Praveer Sinha.
Greg Moran, CEO and co-founder of Zoomcar, stated that the alliance is ready to build a complete ecosystem that satisfies the changing needs of EV aficionados.
"Our car-sharing platform is perfectly suited for electric vehicles and we expect to grow 50 per cent of our platform by 2025," he added.
In support of the nation's energy independence, Tata Power, which was formerly one of the three companies collectively known as Tata Electric Companies, is a pioneer in the adoption of new technology. To its credit are numerous firsts. Together with its subsidiaries and joint entities, Tata Power has a generation capacity of 14, 294 MW, of which 38% comes from clean energy sources. The business holds the distinction of ranking among the leading private companies in each value chain sector, including rooftop solar and value-added services.
